The Cabin at the Gorge is conviently located in the heart of steelhead country.
While there are several great trout streams within an hours drive from the cabin, Chautauqua
Creek boasts the highest steelhead trout catch rate in new York State (1.2 trout caught per fishing hour) and you will
not find yourself standing shoulder to shoulder with other fisherman as you would at many sites.
There are several great spots just down the road from the cabin where you can access Chautuaqua Creek.
